Check out our favorite stops for shopping and dining

Downtown Asheville Shopping

There are so many fantastic independently owned shops in Asheville, it would take days to list them all that are worthy of a visit but these are a few of our absolute stops!

We’re bit biased about Broadway Street, but it’s home so we need to first mention these gems, which btw are all woman owned!

C&Co for locally made organic plant based skincare and natural spa with an amazing, knowledgable staff!

L.O.F.T. which is Lost Objects, Found Treasures and perfectly describes what you’ll find there!

VaVaVoom our neighbors who offer high quality sex wellness products (and pretty lingerie!).

Spare Chaynge is your spot for all fun things vegan! Including bags, clothing and gifts.

Beyond Broadway Street

For women’s clothing check out these shops, also all woman owned.

Boutique LP - Classics with a modern edge

Edge - Contemporary modern clothing

Hazel Twenty -you can find menswear and kiddo stuff too!

For jewelry( after you’ve shopped here:))

Mora Modern, creative and original jewelry

Fox & Beaux specializes in custom, one of a kind engagement rings and other jewelry

For shoes

Tops SO MANY SHOES! Excellent brands and great style

For books, we’re all avid readers her at Embellish so we need to mention the best book store in town.

Downtown Asheville Dining

Asheville’s reputation as a hoppin’ food scene is well deserved. The choices are varied and I’ve rarely had a poor meal in this town. But, it’s busy around here so better to make a reservation than be disappointed if you have a popular favorite in mind!

Zambra Tapas & Wine Bar

Chai Pani Indian street food and James Beard Foundation Winner

Cucina 24 Italian, and James Beard Foundation Semi finalist Best Chef

And go for hike! I’ll cover that in a future blog, plus more to do while visiting, so be sure subscribe to our email list!

Again, this is hardly a comprehensive list. This town is built on small, independent business, so explore, there’s so much to see/do/eat!
